The Orange Dirt Tracker

We had an idea to build a very narrow and slim hardtail bike based on the old dirt trackers.

Starting point was actually two 23 inch wheels from a Honda XL 500 from 1982.

Then we build on a sportser 1200 base a complete custom bike with lots of special produced parts. The gas tank was build from scratch a split up in oil and gas tank. The oil line run to the frame tubes for a super clean look. With drum brakes and classic springer fork it matches the old style that has been in those days.

This dirt tracker runs and drives great. And find a new owner a couple of years ago.

The Green Bobber

This bike I build for myself.

I’ll wanted to build a bobber hardtail like an old “Knucklehead” but then with a better a more durable engine.

So to create that look I made the first “ Wingheads” to give that Knucklehead look. Then the engine have the look of an original Knucklehead but then with the engine of a newer Shovelhead. It turned out to be a good concept.

So we build several bikes with this unique modification. Also, the green collar and red hand painted stripes seen often on a 1930’s VL.

Interested in such a modification or complete build?

We build this bike for “ Rob”

Rob is specialized in world war 1 and 2, so he wanted a matching bike. The bike is inspired on the Red Barron airplane. Rob came in the shop with a huge amount of boxes full of parts from his Harley WL 750.

We build a fully customized WL like an Italian suit. All parts are coppered or special painted.

The special paint is all done by Rob himself.

This bike we build for “ Bram”

He wanted a traditional style bobber, but then with some combination of modern custom parts. Like an open 2-inch belt and high “ape hanger” style handle bar that we made in the shop. And of course a “ Winghead” conversion.

He didn’t wanted a many used springer fork, but a leaf spring fork. Like you saw by Indian motorcycles from the 30’s.

Bram is a specialist in signing and creative things, so he wanted a gold lettering paint job and a “ moods” cigars red color. (he often smokes)
